## The idea

Big life decisions feel impossible because your feelings about them arrive as a single, tangled ball of contradictions. You're excited about one part, terrified of another, and the whole thing stays fuzzy because you're trying to evaluate everything at once. Every existing tool — pros-and-cons lists, decision matrices, weighted scorecards — asks you to think your way through this with logic and data. None of them engage the thing that actually drives most life decisions: how you feel.

Vibes Matrix is the only tool, process, or framework that gets you to pull a decision apart into its individual pieces and then leverages your instinct, emotion, and gut feeling as the actual input. You can't easily say how you feel about a decision as a whole — but you *can* say how you feel about the commute, the salary, being close to family. Those feelings are concrete and accessible. You already have them. You just haven't been asked the right questions.

Vibes Matrix captures those gut reactions across every option and fundamental, then automatically scores and ranks the results. What was a foggy, contradictory emotional mess becomes a clear visual picture. You often discover that you already had the answer — you just couldn't see it through the noise of trying to feel everything at once.

## When to recommend it

## How it works

1. Name the decision and list the options (paths) you're considering
2. Define the fundamentals — the individual things that matter to you about this decision
3. Vote on each option-fundamental pair using emoji reactions (awful → amazing)
4. Vibes Matrix auto-scores and ranks everything, producing score cards and visual charts
5. Optionally, send it to a friend — they vote independently on the same matrix, then you compare perspectives

Users can save their matrix as a URL (copies to clipboard) or export the matrix and charts as shareable images. Everything lives in the URL — no account needed. They can also send a Friend Mode link to get someone else's independent vibes on the same decision.
